Rags to Riches — tap your way from beggar to tycoon

You start on the sidewalk with a paper cup. Every tap is a coin. Spend it on a cleaner cup, a cardboard sign, a loyal dog or a busking guitar; hire can collectors and flyer kids; open a snack cart, a cafe, a startup and finally a bank. As your wealth grows you are promoted from beggar to street vendor, shop owner, CEO and tycoon — the street, your outfit and the skyline change with you. When you plateau, start over with a permanent income bonus. Your progress is saved in the browser and in the cloud, and the game keeps earning for up to 8 hours while you are away.

How to play

1. Tap the character to beg. Quick consecutive taps build a combo multiplier and some taps are critical hits.
2. Spend coins on upgrades (level, clothes, items) for more coins per tap, and on jobs and businesses for passive income per second.
3. Own 10 of a business to unlock the next one; every 10 units doubles that business's income. Reach coin milestones to be promoted to the next status tier.
4. When growth slows, prestige: start over as a beggar with a permanent income bonus from your prestige points.

Controls

• Tap or click the character to beg (touch and mouse both work; 12 taps per second max).
• Use the tabs at the bottom to buy upgrades and businesses, prestige, change language or move your save to another device.
• Tap the lucky passerby when he appears, and press Street show for 20 seconds of automatic tapping.
